Buckinghamshire is a home county in South East England and the county town is Aylesbury.

Chequers (inset) is a country house to the south east of Aylesbury at the foot of the Chiltern Hills. It is the country residence of the Prime Minister and houses one of the largest collections of national antiques held in the infamous 'long room', including memorabilia pertaining to Oliver Cromwell and Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson.
